Motorcycle ClassesMotorcycling has risks, like any other sport
or form of transportation. But the consequences of an incident are
greater than say a car or truck. In addition, since a motorcycle must
be balanced, they demand a greater skill level to properly and safely
operate than a car.
In South Carolina and in
GWRRA we are fortunate to have excellent training resources available.
South Carolina Rider Education, or SCRiderEd, provides learning
opportunities from beginner to advanced through the State's Technical
College System. Research has shown that not only does initial training
reduce the likely hood of being involved in a crash, but regular
refresher courses help keep riders safer over the long haul. So
consider taking an Intermediate or Experienced Rider Course with
certified MSF Rider Coach instructors at a Technical College near you.
It is a lot of fun and you'll be a better, safer rider for it.
South
Carolina GWRRA offers some rider and co-rider courses at the yearly
Rally event. This year it is in Myrtle Beach. Register early for the
rally and/or the Resort and be entered in special drawings.Go to the
District web site at
